Kindness - Day 3

Kindness to me means being nice and being helpful. At the end of 2018, I had an idea to help the SPCA. I told my teacher and she helped with my classroom and the school to do a drive for blankets and pom poms for animals at the SPCA> It was great. We got lots of things to give the SPCA. The SPCA wrote me a thankyou letter for this. I felt good about helping. Devon

Today is my first day at school from home.

In class we have been writing poems or descriptions about Guy Fawkes. I chose to write an acrostic poem.

Fun fireworks in the sky.

I see explosions in the sky.

Red rainbow rockets.

Every second a bang and a crash.

We have blue fireworks.

Once a year we have fireworks.

Rockets zooming through the night sky.

Kittens hiding from the bangs.

Silly fireworks in the sky.

I enjoyed writing this poem because I like writing poems.

Digital Collage

I learnt how to make a digital collage using shapes and textures and colours. A collage is a picture made up of different shapes, colours and textures. My collage is of a Kiwi because it is the New Zealand national bird.
I really enjoyed doing this work because it was fun and I learnt some more about using Google Drawings.
