Kindness - Day 3
Kindness to me means being nice and being helpful. At the end of 2018, I had an idea to help the SPCA. I told my teacher and she helped with my classroom and the school to do a drive for blankets and pom poms for animals at the SPCA> It was great. We got lots of things to give the SPCA. The SPCA wrote me a thankyou letter for this. I felt good about helping. Devon

Hi Devon, what a cool way to be kind, especially for a charity like the SPCA. It shows that you care about animals. I remember the posters around school that your class did to ask people for spare blankets. Well done Devon!

ReplyDeleteDear Devon, i know that you LOVE all animals, especially meerkats, DOGS and CATS! You wanted to get all the blankets, pillow slips and any bed covers from home, to give to the SPCA. You also wanted Mum to buy pet food at the supermarket to donate. I like how you advised your teacher at the time (Mrs Michelle Farrelly), about your quest and she supported you with this. You and a team from your class created a poster to advertise for donations from the rest of the school. It was a great idea and the SPCA were very grateful. well done! From Devon's Mum. x
